I was born in 1955 in Essex. With Epping Forest as a childhood backdrop an interest in art was soon culitivated. I studied at Portsmouth College of Art and Design in the early 1970's to qualify as both technical illustrator and airbrush artist. I then worked for several years in the Lake District before an opportunity arose in the 1980's to advance my illustration career with a major aircraft company in Hertfordshire.
I decided to start my own company Tudor Studios in 1994 and became a member of the Guild of Motoring Artists. My freelance work has taken all over the UK as well as a period in Germany in association with Volkswagon.
I now live and paint in rural Cornwall and have exhibited my artwork together with prints and greetings cards.
I also have a passion for classic automobiles, owning and restoring a 1949 MG TC - 1980 MGB GT - 1960 Austin A35 Commercial Van. Usually we can be seen along the quiet Cornish lanes.
